The Arem Foundation is situated in the tranquil outskirts of Arusha, close to the foothills of Mount Meru, which is Africa’s fifth highest peak, reaching an impressive 4,556 meters (14,947 feet). Arusha, a bustling African city, is an excellent location, with abundant greenery and a mild climate all year round thanks to its high elevation. With convenient facilities such as banks, supermarkets, and international hospitals, Arusha also offers numerous high-quality dining options and a vibrant nightlife. Notably, the city’s first coffee house is a delightful spot to relax, observe people, and enjoy homemade treats alongside a diverse range of teas and coffees sourced from the fertile slopes near Mbeya in Southern Tanzania.

Cultural Tours

Immersing volunteers in Tanzanian culture through visits to Maasai villages or cultural centers allows them to gain a deeper understanding of local traditions and customs. They can participate in traditional dances, learn about Maasai rituals, and interact with community members, fostering cross-cultural exchange and appreciation.
